Just wondering if anyone can help wanted something to line the bottom of my tank below the substrate to anchor rock work and stop rocks from slipping i've heard people in america call it "egg crate" any ideas would be much appreacitated

yeah egg crate is what is used for what you wish to achieve
also known as light diffuser  from a lighting shop

if your on the northside  smiths aquarium has it for a 4x2 ft sheet for $25

Thanks, hard stuff to track down i've had a lot of puzzled looking faces at hardware stores.
